Programs
Five programs. One promise.
Every legacy storytelling film is professionally shot and edited, shaped by the family, and delivered free of charge.

Program 01
Legacy Storytelling
For the person living with illness. We sit with them, hear their life in their own words, and capture the lessons, laughter and love they want their family to keep.
Runtime
10–15 min
For
Chronic or terminal illness
Captures
Their story, their words

Program 02
Memorial Legacy
For families who have said goodbye. Through their memories, photos, letters and home videos, we help them tell the story of the one they love and miss.
Runtime
10–15 min
For
Grieving families
Captures
Interviews, photos, home video

Program 03
Youth Legacy
For young people facing more than anyone should. We give them room to share their dreams, their courage and their voice, so their story is heard and held.
Runtime
5–10 min
For
Young people and families
Captures
Their story, in their words

Program 04
Caregiver Storytelling
For the people who give care every day. We honor the quiet sacrifices, the hard days and the deep love that caring for someone asks of a person.
Runtime
5–10 min
For
Caregivers
Captures
The daily work of love

Program 05
Fundraising Advocacy & Awareness
For participants rallying support. A short feature and three social videos help a community understand the journey and stand with the family. We make the films only; we never collect or hold donated funds.
Planned for Year 2: Community Voices and Written Legacy.
Runtime
2–3 min + 3 socials
For
Families raising support

Written consent comes before any camera rolls. A family can pause or withdraw at any time before delivery. Every project is patient-centered and culturally sensitive, and optional family sessions help loved ones take part in the storytelling.

Questions families ask
Frequently asked
Does a film really cost nothing?
+
Yes. Every film is free to the family. Donors, sponsors and grants pay for production. No one representing Beyond the Vision will ever ask you for payment, banking details or gift cards.
Who will see the film?
+
You decide. Films are private by default and delivered only to the family. We keep an archive copy. Any public use requires a separate written release, and saying no never affects your film.
Where do you film?
+
Wherever matters most to the participant: home, a hospital or hospice room, a church, a favorite park. Most shoots take one or two days.
What if my loved one’s health changes?
+
We film on the participant’s timeline and keep our shoot logistics ready to move quickly. If a participant cannot be interviewed, family members can tell the story.
Who is eligible?
+
People living with chronic or terminal illness or a life-changing injury, their caregivers, young people facing serious illness, and families who have lost someone. A healthcare provider confirms eligibility; we never ask for medical records.
How long does it take?
+
About four weeks from the first conversation to the finished film. If time is short, tell us in your application and we will do everything we can to move faster.
